Release of v2.4.1
Open Office Technology, Inc., is pleased to announce a new version of OpenOffice-Enterprise, its flagship management solution for the OpenOffice.org office suite. This new release includes updated client software that is fully compatible with OpenOffice.org v2.4.1. For further information, please refer to the most recent Release Notes.
Updated adm files for OpenOffice.org v2.4
Open Office Technology, Inc., is pleased to announce updated administrative template (.adm) files for OpenOffice.org v2.4. Customers wishing to manage the new settings in OpenOffice.org v2.4 may install these new adm files. All existing settings will be preserved.
This is an optional update. The existing version of the OpenOffice-Enterprise client software is fully compatible with OpenOffice.org v2.4, and no upgrade is required.
Release of v2.3

Updated adm files for OpenOffice v2.2
Open Office Technology is pleased to announce updated client software and administrative template (adm) files for OpenOffice.org v2.2. Customers wishing to manage any of the new settings in OpenOffice v2.2 can install these updates. All existing settings will be retained during the update.

Release of v2.2
Open Office Technology has released a new version of OpenOffice-Enterprise, its flagship management solution for the OpenOffice.org office suite.
This new release automatically applies an enterprise-friendly configuration to OpenOffice, including disabling the registration wizard and the auto update feature. These changes simplify the deployment of OpenOffice in an enterprise environment. As before, all of the settings in OpenOffice, including the base configuration applied by OpenOffice-Enterprise, can be overridden and set via Group Policy.

New release for OpenOffice v2.1
Open Office Technology has released a new version of its OpenOffice-Enterprise management software that supports OpenOffice.org v2.1. This release includes new client software and new administrative template (adm) files. Users can upgrade to the new versions without losing any of their settings from prior versions.
This new release supports all versions of OpenOffice from v2.0 to v2.1, and also now supports development versions of OpenOffice ("OOo-Dev"). The administrative template files include localizations for English, German, Dutch, French, Spanish and Italian. To request additional languages, please contact us.
Updated adm files for OpenOffice v2.0.4
Open Office Technology, Inc., has released updated administrative template (.adm) files for the new release of OpenOffice v2.0.4. These files also work with previous versions of OpenOffice v2.x. The updated adm files are currently available for the English, German and French versions of OpenOffice, and can be downloaded at our Download page. To request additional languages, please contact us.
Instructions for using Group Policy to upgrade to the new version of OpenOffice can be found at Upgrading OpenOffice. An installer transform (.mst) file is available to ensure the OpenOffice-Enterprise client software remains installed during the upgrade. This transform, along with some additional installation transforms are available at Installation Transforms.
OpenOffice v2.0.4 has significantly changed the path settings for user and system directories. System administrators who are currently managing OpenOffice's path settings need to add an additional setting for v2.0.4. This setting is described at Directory Paths.

Open Office Technology wrapped up a great week, showcasing OpenOffice-Enterprise and helping staff the OpenOffice.org booth at LinuxWorld Expo in Boston last week.

Release of v2.0
We are proud to announce the release of v2.0 of OpenOffice-Enterprise, our flagship enterprise mangement solution for the OpenOffice.org office suite.
This release includes the ability to manage file formats, directory paths, language, fonts, meta-data values, menu and command access, and more.
The software can be downloaded from http://OpenOfficeTechnology.com/download, and can be installed and used without charge on up to five computers for the purpose of testing and evaluation.
Licensing is $400 per year for 100 users, and $2 per year for each additional user. Full support is included.
